Mail delivery suspended Jan. 9

Thursday, January 2, 2025   (0 Comments)

A National Day of Observance has been declared to honor the death of former President, Jimmy Carter, on Thursday, Jan. 9, so mail delivery will be suspended on that day. The USPS has announced that it will suspend regular mail deliveries, retail services and administrative office activity on that day but continue to accept and process volume dropped by commercial mailers at mail processing facilities. There will be limited package delivery service on Jan. 9. All Postal Service facilities are included in the National Day of Observance.
