New ONF appointments and officers

The Oklahoma Newspaper Foundation Board of Trustees recently elected officers for 2022-2023 during its meeting on June 10.
Cindy Allen, publisher of Enid News & Eagle, was elected president for a one-year term. Ray Dyer, editor of the El Reno Tribune, was elected vice president and David Stringer, publisher of The Lawton Constitution, was elected treasurer.
In April the OPA Board of Directors appointed three new trustees, each to a three-year term, beginning July 1. The new trustees are: Clytie Bunyan, managing editor for diversity, community engagement and opinion at The Oklahoman, Jason Collington, Tulsa World editor, and J.D. Meisner, Cushing Citizen publisher.
Other trustees are John D. Montgomery, The Purcell Register; Maria Noble, Oologah Lake Leader; Jeff Shultz, retired; and Barb Walter, Kingfisher Times & Free Press.
The current officers of the OPA Board of Directors also serve on the ONF Board of Trustees. They are Zonelle Rainbolt, Wesner Publications; Don Mecoy, The Oklahoman, and John Denny Montgomery, The Purcell Register.
