Sheila Gay elected Vice President

Woodward News publisher Sheila Gay is the new vice president of the Oklahoma Press Association, effective January 1, 2023.

The OPA Board of Directors elected Gay to the position on Dec. 8 following the resignation of former vice president Don Mecoy, who ended his employment at The Oklahoman on Dec. 31. Gay has served on the Board of Directors since 2019. Her term as vice president is from January 1 to June 30, 2023.
