A Tulsa fireman helps his college aim a spray of foam at a hotspot. The Firemen were fighting a Two Alarm fire at the Windsail apartments in Tulsa. Thirty mph wind gusts made the fire involving one building in the complex difficult to control.

Levi Hill covers ground on a dash with two Eagles following in case he needs some interference in his trip. You can just tell by the body language of #10 on the Jones team that he messed up. The Eagles won the Class 2A championship game against Jones 21-7. It was their second state championship in a row. Last year was the first time the Eagles had ever won a state championship.

A structure fire destroyed a home in Farris Monday night, Nov. 14. The home on South Farris Road was unoccupied, according to the Farris Fire Department. The cause of the fire, which started at the north end of the residence, is undetermined. The home was a total loss.

Tulsa Warrrior Dash contestants braved more than 10 obstacles along Turkey Mountain's trails, including two rows of fire they had to jump. Thousands competed in several heats that began at 9 a.m. and went until 3:30 p.m.

Looking for signs of life at Great Salt Plains Lake July 21 is 12-year-old Christian Fonseco of Nescatunga. Fonseco walked the shoreline from dusk 'til dawn last week in an attempt to rescue any fish that washed up on dry land. Once again, a fish kill - brought about by hot, dry weather - has made it more difficult to promote improvements at the lake.

A Comanche County deputy sheriff watches as flames burn along a ridgeline in the Wichita Mountains. The fire burned throughout the night and into the next day as firefighters struggled to get it under control.

John Cerney's cutouts are located on the south side of S.H. 3 near Centrahoma. The bull is 12 feet tall and the rancher who is 'building' his cattle using jigsaw puzzle pieces, is 10 feet tall. The cutouts are located on the Deward and Kim Strong ranch. In the background are a 10-foot tall cow and a 6-foot tall calg. Since this picture was taken, the cow and calf have been separated.

An electrical problem was believed to be the cause of a fire that burned a hole in the roof of this home north of Curtis on Friday, April 15. Despite strong winds blowing to the south, the fire was contained to the kitchen and living room areas on the north side of the house.

An Atoka firefighter battles a car fire at 907 S. Montana Ave. on Feb. 22 The fire destroyed the blue Chevrolet Cavalier. The blaze began in the dashboard, according to Atoka Fire Chief Donnia Allen. The two occupants got our of the car.
