More than 300 college students have interned at Oklahoma newspapers and online news media since 2007 with their salaries funded by the Oklahoma Newspaper Foundation.
Applications for the 2026 paid summer internship program are now available! The program is made possible this year by a grant from the Inasmuch Foundation.
ONF will fund seven internships in summer 2026. It will also provide all student applications to other interested publications willing to use their own funding for interns' salaries.
The internship salary is $12 per hour for 280 hours with salary funding provided by ONF.
