Committee Sign-Up

Committee members serve for a fiscal year (July through June). Any staff member of an Oklahoma Press Association Legal Newspaper or General News Media publication may serve on a committee. Most committees will meet via video conference approximately four times per year plus the possibility of one in-person meeting during the year. Prior to each meeting or conference call committee members receive a meeting agenda and supporting material. The OPA tries to schedule meetings and calls on either Thursday or Friday to accommodate most members' schedules.

Note: According to OPA Board Policy 2.2, the OPA President shall annually appoint the chairman, Board liaison and all members of committees.
